The diabetology outpatient clinic deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of carbohydrate metabolism disorders: glucose intolerance, type I diabetes, type II diabetes, gestational diabetes and others. The diabetologist also treats insulin resistance and obesity.

If necessary, the diabetologist may also order other tests: fundus examination, Doppler examination of the arteries of the lower extremities, neurological tests, tests for celiac disease.
